It is very confusing to most users when it comes to the various media formats; whether it be audio (music), video and picture files. Once you think you have the file formats figured out, you will spend a great deal of time trying to find a conversion utility that will take one file format and convert it to another so that it will be compatible with whatever device you are working with.

Hey, how about MediaCoder? It is much more easy to use, has more conversion settings, and has a smaller install.
Only con is that it doesn’t convert pictures.

Thank you for visiting the blog and leaving a comment… I will have to check out MediaCoder and do a writeup on it.

mediacoder easier than format factory???? no way. mediacoder is about the most detailed (and most powerful) coder made. ffactory is about as simple as it gets. i use mediacoder when i want to get technical with my settings. wanna talk “demux”? lol.
