Maintaining a PC can be a daunting task, especially when you are unfamiliar with the utilities that are available to accomplish those tasks. I recently came across a PC optimization tool, called “Perfect Utilities”, that is new one to me.
I am usually cautious when it comes to utilities that claim to fix or optimize your PC; BUT, after kicking the tires around on Perfect Utilities, I think app could end up being a contender in the system optimization and maintenance category. The first thing that set well with me is that the interface is clean and easy to navigate. The second thing was that this optimization tool is bundled with over 20 tools (see below) to clean, optimize and speed up your system performance. The third thing was that many of the cleaning options available provided a rescue option in the event a problem occurred.
As with any utility such as this, you are making system modifications (that generally are safe); however, things can go bump in the night if you do not have some knowledge of what you are doing. Also, when exploring each of the utilities bundled in Perfect Utilities, be sure to explore the menu options. For example, the Perfect Disk Defrag provided numerous disk defragmentation options. Overall, I will be kicking Perfect Utilities around and watching its’ development. I’m hoping for a portable version of this app, as well.

Yeah! This utility is very good to use and I have personally tried it.
BTW Very Nice Article Presentation (Clean & Upto the Mark)
Mrinmay,
Thanks for your support! This is the first I have heard about (and tried) this particular utility.

[...] how Rick does it but full credit has to be given to him for finding this Free PC optimization tool (Perfect Utilities). Credit also has to be given to the author of the application. A full review of this [...]
Bears a striking resemblance to TuneUp Utilities. It’s as if they copied it.
Stop it Rick! Perfect Utilities is a ripoff copycat of the famous and good commercial shareware WinUtilities! The interfaces are uncannily similar, and Perfect Utilities is all new! The dead giveaway is that they have the “same” manufacturing companies!
You should delete this post immediately!

I am checking on this and may take the post down if I find it is “copycat software”.
Thanks for pointing this out.
Rick
There is a striking resemblance to Tuneup Utilities and WinUtilities but there are more features. Hmmm… I need more convincing evidence on this one.

I did some research on the topic. See the following evidence.

Adrian,
Interesting article… The author is sort of where I am with this. The author left his post up, as well. I was truly hoping to get a response back from WinUtilities and Perfect Utilities. I have been checking into this, as well. My concern is that this app may in fact be a copy and be clean NOW; but, what is to say it becomes doctored to be a malware app (just like the rest of the imposters out there). Hmmm…
Rick
I have contacted Perfect Utilities and have invited them to leave a comment on the blog to refute these claims. Let us see what develops.
Thank you for pointing this matter out…
Rick
I have also contacted WinUtilities to invite them to leave a comment, as well. Stayed tuned. I maintain an honest blog and will never intentionally mislead anyone. If I find this is in fact “copy cat” software, down it comes!
