Hi Rick–this is off topic, but I got a question from one of my readers and thought you might have the answer. I couldn’t find an Ask Me button here (and I now realize I don’t have one on my blog either), so am posting it with this article.
He asked, “Is there a way to put in the link so that only a click is needed to use it? ctr-click is hard for some users to get right. Thank you so much for any tip!”
I can’t think of a way. A macro might work, but I think the Ctrl nixes it. Any ideas? I also gave him your link, so you may hear from him.
Jacqui,
Is this in Micosoft Word? If so, the only thing I can think of is that when he saves the document, if in MS-Word, he may try saving it as a “web page”. Word has that available as one of the “save as” options. This may change some of the formatting of the document, but may give him some ideas; plus, when an user clicks on a link, it will respond with one click.
I don’t know if this helps or not.
Rick
