Today’s Geek Squeaks – August 14, 2013

A summary of Today’s Geek Squeaks:

Squeak #1: A huge tip on how to find important emails faster (from one of my favorite sites);

Squeak #2: In Windows XP, Vista and 7, you could invoke the Advanced Boot Options menu by pressing F8 (especially to get to Safe Mode). Did you know this is no longer possible in Windows 8; however, there is a way to bring the F8 control option back to life?

Squeak #3: A neat (portable) utility that will let you know the  Startup Time, Shutdown Time, Duration, Shutdown Reason, Shutdown Type, Shutdown Process, and Shutdown Code of a computer; AND,

Squeak #4: An inexpensive, full-size mouse, with full-size features.
