The Computer Information Technology program at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Shelbyville will be recognized at the White House  along with other Career Technical Education winners of the 2014 “Excellence in Action” award on June 30, 2015.

The Obama Administration and White House will be recognizing the programs at a convening, Celebrating Innovations in Career and Technical Education which will be hosted at The White House on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.

The CIT program and other CTE winners will be recognized with a select group of other education leaders.  Business and industry partners, exceptional student leaders and Administration officials,  will be present to celebrate the latest advancements in career and technical education (CTE).  The program along with other winners will be recognized for its achievements on innovative CTE coursework…
