Remotely Fetch files on your PC Using OneDrive

Did you know, if you have the OneDrive desktop app for Windows installed on a PC, you can use the “Fetch Files Feature” to access all your files on that PC from another PC by going to the OneDrive website? For example, this feature would allow you to remotely access your computer at home to download files, stream videos and browse photos.

  2. You must explicitly enable such access on any machine from which you wish such access. However, it strikes me that doing so opens a pretty substantial security vulnerability. I only allow myself access over my LAN; and, for that, the Windows File Browser is all I need, with the shared folders remaining explicit.
