Is Your Windows 10 Upgrade Setup Stuck? – Just experienced this problem with a friend where his Windows 10 upgrade was stuck at the “Preparing To Install” window for over 24 hours. Typically the upgrade process should be less than 2 hours max and in my case the upgrade process (on a basic laptop) took approximately 45 minutes. If this occurs, there is actually two things you can “try”. In my friends case we ended up shutting down the computer and restarting the process all over again (and it worked). We were not seeing any hard drive activity at all; thus, we made the decision to shutdown. In the event you do not want to take that risk, and your Microsoft Windows 10 Setup Stuck At “Preparing To Install”? Here’s The Fix … at a website called Bidnessetc. I have not tried this fix; however, this is what I came up with when researching the problem my friend was experiencing.
Remember the “Send To Toys” Explorer Extension? It’s back… – Some years back a developer made a popular Windows Explorer extension tool that expanded the usage of the “Send To” menu, called Send To Toys. After years of no development activity, the developer recently published an upgraded version that is compatible with Windows 10. Please note that I have added “Send To Toys” to the downloads page under the “Free Software” swarm…

Play And Run Android Apps On Your Desktop – This concept is nothing new, but the emulator to do this called Nox App Player is new to me and apparently was out there in the wild, but in Chinese. Betanews has a write-up on this if you are interested in giving this a try — CLICK HERE
Trail and Game Camera Viewer – My brother’s have game cameras setup on our property (more or less as a hobby). You would not believe what has been captured on camera (such as bears, eagles, foxes and coyotes). The cameras require a SD card; and, typically in order to view the camera footage you have to take the card to a computer, UNTIL NOW. Check out this BoneViewTM2.0 Trail and Game Camera Viewer for AndroidTM Phones, Micro USB Connector, Reads SD and Micro SD Cards
