Acer C720 Chromebook
(11.6-Inch, Haswell micro-architecture, 2GB)
For $200 bucks, this Chromebook (by Acer) is something to really take a look at, especially if you only need something to get on the internet. Let’s face it, most of our computer time is on the internet.
Chromebooks are designed to be connected to the Internet. You can create documents and spreadsheets or edit photos on a Chromebook using Google apps designed for these purposes. The Chrome operating system will not load and run traditional PC software like Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop. However, files created in these applications can be viewed and edited using Google apps on your Chromebook or cloud-based applications like Microsoft’s Office web apps… CHECK IT OUT HERE

Screen Off and Lock
I was recently looking for a software (or app) option to turning off my Android phone by tapping on an app shortcut on the screen (instead of using the hardware button). What I found was a very nice app called Screen Off and Lock that works very nicely and has several options such as screen off animations (that are very cool).
Screen Off and Lock allows you to switch off your devices from:
1. Launcher shortcut
2. Launcher widget 1×1 – 4×4, resizable in Android 4.0+ (Also available in lock screen for Android 4.2+) (Donate version)
4. Floating button over all apps! (Double tap to use it) (Donate version)
5. Search button (if your device has it)
1. Screen off animation (including the most famous Old TV style)
2. Screen lock/unlock sound effect
3. Screen off vibration
